As an apprentice Personal Assistant/Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks. You will support in administration of training courses and assessments, quality checking the work of others and much more. The wide variety of the role means that we need a quick learner who can take on board challenges.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be achieving a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

We will provide full training, and support, however the right candidate needs to have excellent IT skills as well as attention to detail. Strong written English and verbal communication skills are essential.

We use many different platforms, such as VQ Manager, ACE360, Highfield Vault and many more and will support training on these systems, but strong IT skills are essential.

As a training provider, we offer a range of training courses such as Quality Assurance. We may offer to support the right candidate through the learning and training for these courses and other training relevant to the role.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There will be additional opportunities to progress within training, assessing or quality assurance routes. We are a small but rapidly growing organisation with great promotion prospects for the right person.

Things to consider

The role will mean working from home and you will need your own IT equipment such as a laptop. There is no requirement yet for a DBS but this may be needed at some point depending on how the role progresses as we do assess apprentices. In return we offer training and development in addition to the apprenticeship in terms of Quality Assurance and Assessment training opportunities for the right candidate, which could include the achievement of Level 3 and Level 4 Qualifications.

About the employer

A2A Training and EPA provide End Point Assessment for 11 different apprenticeship standards. We also offer training for tutor/assessors, quality assurance staff and apprenticeship end point assessors. We are a small, but rapidly growing company and we are approved by Ofqual as well as affiliated to Highfield.
