Community Courses

Our adult and community education programme, plays a vital role in supporting people on their journey to learn skills to enter, return or progress in work.

Our community programme gives people direct access to learning and employment opportunities.

We offer a range of informal and formal learning from entry-level courses to professional qualifications, as well as interview support and confidence-boosting programmes.

These 2-hour session, delivered over 6-week within the Community include;

  • Preparation for work
  • Introduction into Health and Social Care
  • Introduction into Early Years and Childcare
  • Introduction into Teaching and lecturing
  • Foundations for learning and life
  • Digital and IT
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing

All of these courses are part of the BMet Engage offer and can be tailored to your community needs.

If you are a community leader with some learners you think would be suitable for one of our 6 week community led programmes, or you are within the community and know of a group of people interested in a short course, please do get in touch.
