Are you getting full benefit from Apprenticeship funding?

A ‘one year on’ Apprenticeship Levy breakfast event is being hosted by BMet in June.

The business breakfast event aims to demystify the world of apprenticeships and offers a unique opportunity for employers to learn from and share best practice with each other. Most importantly they will take away top tips on how to access and use apprenticeship funding effectively, whether or not they pay the levy.

Taking place on Friday 22 June at 7.30am at Birmingham’s Park Regis Hotel, the event will include an insightful and thought provoking discussion around the levy’s impact on local businesses.

Event speakers include John Myers, Head of National Account Management at the Education & Skills Funding Agency and Jake Tween, Head of Apprenticeships at the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Employers will receive the latest policy updates as well as hearing how some companies have been able to utilise their funding fully.

Andrew Cleaves, BMet principal and CEO, said: “Whilst some employers have hit the ground running with apprenticeships and the impact of the levy, others have taken smaller steps around their workforce recruitment and training. We understand that.  It’s a confusing landscape and at the event we hope to clarify things for business leaders who may be struggling to deal with the welter of new rules and regulations.

“Our free breakfast meeting really is a must attend event for anyone paying into the levy or wanting to get business benefit from training and employing apprentices.”

Bookings can be made through Eventbrite.
