Vocational Studies Entry Level 3 (Entrance to Success)

This one year course encourages you to develop your employability skills, including independent skills, time management, communication skills, research skills and teamwork. You will cover a range of topics including: Developing personal confidence and self-awareness, Preparation for work, Problem solving in the work place, Understanding your rights in the work place, ICT, Communication Skills. You will also study Functional Skills in English and Mathematics.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualifications needed only a desire to return to education and achieve a recognised qualification.

Delivery and Assessment

You will sit practical assessments for each unit and build a portfolio of evidence. Units are assessed through friendly, motivated and interesting tasks.


After successfully completing this course you can progress to your chosen pathway: A wide range of Level 1 courses across college or you may choose to go into employment.
