This is a one year course which is aimed at people who would like to develop
their knowledge and skills required for working in the health and social care
sector. You will be supported to retake maths and English alongside and a
placement opportunity will also be provided. Successful completion will lead to
progression onto level 3 health and social care.

Course Length: 35 Weeks
You will need four GCSE grades D/3 or above including English and maths.
You will be assessed on an on-going basis through a variety of methods including two externally assessed unit, assignments, case studies and presentations.
This course provides the knowledge skills and understanding to allow you to progress on to Level 3 qualifactions, such as BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care, other Level 2 vocational qualification and related competence-based qualifactions in the health and social care sector.
