eduroam at BMet College
*The eduroam service (Home and Visitor) is in development at BMet and will soon be put into production*
Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) allows secure connectivity to the Internet, for staff and students in the College (Home service), as well as visitors from other educational institutions who also subscribe to eduroam (Visitor service).
Use of eduroam at BMet College is via WiFi and is subject to reading and adhering to these policies:
CIPA complaint Internet content filtering is employed to adhere to the College’s Safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities. Internet access is monitored and recorded for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.
The service is available at the three main campuses: Sutton Coldfield College, Matthew Boulton College and James Watt College.
To access the Internet, connect to ‘eduroam’ using your BMet username and password. Your device must support PEAP/MSCHAPv2 via WiFi. Alternatively visit the eduroam CAT website, click to download the installer and choose the ‘Birmingham Metropolitan College’ organisation.
