UAL Performing & Production Arts Diploma Level 3 (Dance)

This dance course is perfect if you want to develop your practical dance skills and gain a working knowledge of the dance world and develop the skills you need for a successful career in dance.

This course is built around projects and set classes which are delivered with the aim of feeding into productions. These performances provide you with experience and prepare you for work-based opportunities. You’ll learn a range of techniques including contemporary and classical techniques, ballet, tap and street jazz.

You can expect experienced tutors who will support you in all aspects of the course, there will be lots of practical classes and opportunities for you to perform to an audience, as well as working creatively.

Awarded by UAL Awarding Body you will achieve a UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts on completion of this course.

* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.

Course Length: 35 Weeks

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above or a Level 2 Diploma at grade Merit or above. You will also be required to complete an audition at Interview.

Assessment is based on assignments and projects.  These will involve individual research, performance projects and group.

You can progress to University or Drama School or seek employment in the performing arts industry. Our students gain places at the most elite dance schools, and universities in the UK including: Bodyworks, Cambridge, Phil Winstons Theatreworks, Blackpool, London Studios, Laine,  Bird College of Performing Arts and LIPA.
