Property Maintenance Operative Appenticeship (Level 2)

Level 2 - Intermediate

Property Maintenance Operative Appenticeship (Level 2)

The Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to maintain and repair a wide range of properties. This hands-on programme is ideal for those who enjoy practical work and problem-solving across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrics, carpentry, painting and decorating, and general building maintenance.

Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will gain experience working in real environments - such as residential housing, commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, or retail spaces - ensuring they understand how to deliver effective maintenance that keeps buildings safe, functional, and welcoming. Apprentices will develop a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, customer service principles, and how to diagnose and resolve common property issues efficiently.
With support from experienced professionals at the college, apprentices will work towards a Level 2 qualification, preparing them for a successful career in property maintenance or progression into specialist roles or further study.

This programme is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are practical, reliable, and keen to build a career in the property and construction sector.
