With this immersive two-year course you will have the opporunity to specialise in two different fields,

By working with local employers, we can guarantee you will gain a comprehensive overview of knowledge of all skills related to business management. Allowing you to work and learn within an administrative and managerial role. With topics such as Business Context, Quality Compliance, Change Management and much more. This qualification will equip you with the knowledge and tools to develop your training to become qualified with the correct support and training. Equivalent to three A-levels, this Management and Administration T-level course will help gain experience and obtain a qualification to boost your prospects. * Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.

Course Length: 35 Weeks

You should be at least 16 years old, with five GCSE’s grade 4 and above to include English Language at grade 5 and Maths, minimum grade 5. Science is also desirable at grade 4 or above.

This course will be assessed with 2 externally set exams covering knowledge from the Management and Administration Core.

An employer will set 1 project covering knowledge and skills from the Management and Administration

The employer-set project will consist of a well-defined, real industry-style brief. The brief will be complex and non-routine, and will require the use of relevant maths, English and digital skills.

Finally, there will be 1 occupational specialism. These assessments will feature a considerable practical element and are composed of a series of holistic practical tasks relating to the specialism at hand. They will take place over a period of time, by nature of the considerable practical elements.

This qualification focuses on the development of knowledge and skills needed to work in any sector within an administrative and managerial role and prepares students to enter through employment or as an Apprentice.

Furthermore, the completion of this qualifications gives students the opportunity to progress onto higher education courses and training.

Core Knowledge and Understanding across Business and Administration Route

This component focuses on the students’ knowledge and understanding of contexts, concepts, theories, and principles relevant to Management and Administration. The component is designed to develop awareness of the key areas that impact the sector, developing knowledge and understanding of the:

  • Contexts that organisations operate and manage in.
  • Key people and stakeholders that support business operations.
  • Quality and compliance standards that affect business operations.
  • Financial contexts that organisations operate within.
  • Key policies and procedures that support organisations.
  • Concepts of project and change management.
  • Business behaviours that influence how organisations operate.
