Course Length: 33 Weeks
You will need GCSEs in English and maths at Grade 4/C or above (or an equivalent qualification). You will need to demonstrate your commitment to the course at interview. You should have had a period of time away from studying and have an interest in pursuing a career in the IT professions. Applicants need to be 19 years old or over.
This course is assessed by coursework which emphasises practical work and any work place experience you may have. Coursework may involve essays, presentations, reports, discussions and a portfolio of evidence.
Students progress onto computing and IT related degree courses which after completion can lead to careers in a wide range of IT and computing areas. These include systems support, networking, software design, cybersecurity and systems development.
By enrolling on our courses students become part of our Creative and Digital Career College which helps them to further develop their employability skills and network with employers in a range of activities such as live briefs, workshops, guru talks, etc.
