Level 1 - Introductory
AAT Financial Business Skills Award Level 1
This Level 1 AAT qualification is designed to give you an introduction to the
wider skills needed in every business. This is a basic-level qualification for
people taking their first step into work. As well as covering the basic
accounting techniques and principles you’ll gain a broader understanding of the
business environment and how to prepare for entering the world of work.
This course runs one morning a week for 15 weeks.

* Courses are free for 16-18s. Students aged 19 or over could be charged fees and is subject to a fee assessment. Learners on benefits in the majority of cases courses are also free. Fee assessments are completed at enrolment.
Course Length: 6 Weeks
There are no formal entry requirements. As part of the enrolment process, you will be asked to sit an initial assessment. This is to assess your suitability for the course.
You will be assessed via a computer based assessment at the end of the course.
Successful completion of this qualification will enable you to go on to study further AAT qualifications, for example Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting. You may also be able to progress into employment within an office environment.
