Course overview
The course is intensive and includes units in Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Study Skills. You’ll be supported by a dedicated tutor for both academic and pastoral guidance, including help with your UCAS application. The diploma consists of 60 Level 3 credits: 15 in Biology, 15 in Chemistry, 9 in Physics, 6 in Maths and 15 in Study Skills.

Entry Requirements
You must be aged 19 or over and have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. You’ll also need relevant life experience and a strong motivation to pursue a science-based career.
Progression Opportunities
Successful students progress to science-related degrees such as Radiology, Dietetics, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Zoology, Marine Biology and Chemistry.
Delivery And Assessment
Assessment is through a combination of coursework and exams. Coursework may include essays, presentations, reports, discussions and a portfolio of evidence.
