STUDENT WELFARE

GUIDANCE & SUPPORT

At BMet, we want every student to get the most from their studies and college experience. Our Student Welfare team is here to provide guidance, support, and practical advice, helping you overcome challenges and reach your potential.

PERSONAL TUTORS

Every student is assigned a personal tutor when they join BMet. Your tutor will:

  • Provide regular support and guidance throughout your college journey
  • Monitor your progress and academic performance
  • Support both academic and pastoral needs
  • Be a link for parents/carers into the college
  • Work with subject staff to track progress and report home

Your personal tutor is your first point of contact for any questions, concerns, or guidance you may need.

PERFORMANCE COACHES

You can contact a Performance Coach at any point during your time at BMet. Our one-to-one Performance Coaching scheme is here to help you overcome barriers and reach your full potential.

How Performance Coaches can help you:

  • Guidance with study skills, motivation, and time management
  • Support to build resilience, confidence, and wellbeing
  • Coaching and mentoring to help you stay on track and achieve your goals

Our aim is to empower you to succeed – both academically and personally – throughout your course.
