Depends on the individual’s needs and EHCP.
1:1 support may be provided in a group setting with multiple students needing assistance.
Support aims to develop independent skills and prepare students for next steps.
Transition plans include pre-enrolment visits, meetings with staff, and taster sessions, tailored to individual needs.
Inclusive Support Coordinators work closely with tutors to make reasonable adjustments for individual needs.
Support for Autism, Dyslexia/Dyscalculia/Dyspraxia, sensory impairments, and other learning difficulties.
Services include: mentors, counsellors, assistive software and technology, sign language support workers, laptops with specialist software, exam access arrangements.
We work closely with external agencies such as Visual and Hearing Impairment Teams, Communication Autism Teams, Speech and Language Support, Educational Psychology Service, SENDIASS, CAMHS/Forward Thinking, and Connexions.
All sites are wheelchair accessible, with disabled toilets and hoists available at some locations.
We aim to provide a replacement. If not possible, the student will be informed of alternative arrangements.
Two parents’ evenings per year with reports.
Continuous review of the effectiveness of support.
