We’re proud to be home to the UK’s first Greater Birmingham Professional Services Academy (GBPSA) – developed with partners including Deloitte, KPMG, Lloyds and Wesleyan. Our programmes help businesses attract, train and retain the very best people.

  • A pipeline of motivated young professionals, assessed from age 16.

PARTNERSHIPS & SUBCONTRACTS

BMet engages strategically to meet the needs of learners, local employers, the West Midlands Combined Authority, and other stakeholders. All potential business partnerships are carefully reviewed through a robust planning process, ensuring alignment with our strategic aims and quality standards.

Our partnerships aim to:
  • Enhance opportunities for learners
  • Fill gaps in specialist training or improve access to facilities
  • Support better geographical access
  • Provide entry points for disadvantaged groups
  • Consider the impact on learners with protected characteristics
Key requirements:
  • Funding streams must be planned and finalised in advance
  • All arrangements must comply with WMCA and ESFA guidelines
  • Full due diligence is required before agreements are made
