FREE COURSES FOR ADULTS

Many adults can study for free at BMet.

If you’re aged 19 or over and earn less than £36,126 per year, you could be eligible for free tuition on selected courses.

If your course isn’t free, don’t worry, we can offer:

  • Flexible payment plans
  • Advanced Learner Loans for eligible Level 3 courses
  • Advice from our Student Services team

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

We want everyone to have the opportunity to study at BMet.

Depending on your age, course and personal circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with the cost of studying, including travel, equipment and other essential course-related expenses.

WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY

Learners enrolling on a course will need to provide the appropriate evidence from the list below. Please ensure you bring all the required forms of evidence with you on the day.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

• Passport
• Photo Driving licence
• Identity Card or other form of National ID

COURSE INFORMATION

• Proof of Qualifications
• National Insurance number

FINANCE (IF APPLICABLE)

• Payment card/details
• Confirmation of Loan application/approval
• Employer purchase order

IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS

• Visa documentation
• Refugee/asylum documentation
• Residency and Income evidence

If your course has tuition fees, payment or evidence of an approved loan application must be provided at enrolment.

  • Proof of qualifications

  • Confirmation of your loan application and/or approval if you are funding your fees through and Advanced Learner Loan or Higher Education Loan
  • Purchase order confirmation if your employer is paying fees
  • If you are an asylum seeker, refugee or have a study Visa or any other Visa type covering your time in the UK, please bring this documentation with you.
