Course overview
Over 18 weeks, you’ll study anatomy and physiology, client communication, programme design, and nutrition. You’ll also learn how to support clients with medical conditions and prepare for employment as a personal trainer.

Entry Requirements
A background in personal training or gym use is helpful. You’ll need good communication skills, a strong interest in fitness, and a good level of physical fitness. A positive reference and good attendance may also be required.
Progression Opportunities
This qualification can lead to employment as a personal trainer or progression to further qualifications in fitness and health.
Delivery And Assessment
You’ll complete a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations, coursework, and a multiple-choice exam. All assessments are internally marked.
