Course overview
This course blends theory with practical experience to prepare you for a career in counselling. You’ll explore empathic communication, ethical frameworks, and psychological theories, supported by one-to-one guidance from experienced lecturers. You’ll also benefit from modern digital learning tools and study content aligned with professional standards, including the SCoPEd framework.

Entry Requirements
You’ll need 32 UCAS Tariff points and a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English Language and Maths (Level 2 equivalents considered). You will also need a level 3 classroom based qualification in counselling.
