Caring for a Child/Children Entry Level 3

This course offers a gentle introduction to childcare and early years education. It’s ideal for those who are new to the sector and want to explore a future working with children. This qualification is designed to stimulate interest and encourage a learner’s understanding of the skills needed to care for a baby or young child.

Learn the basic skills needed to care for babies and young children. You’ll build your understanding of the childcare sector and begin to explore potential career paths. The course is designed for learners with little or no experience and includes one college session per week.

Entry Requirements

Grade 1 in at least 4 GCSE subjects including GCSE English language and maths. Progression on to level 1 cert health and social care children and young peoples settings.
