Entry Requirements
You’ll need a minimum of grade 3 (D) in GCSE English and Maths, and a similar level of understanding in science. You’ll also have an informal interview with a tutor at enrolment.
Progression Opportunities
A GCSE in Biology opens the door to higher-level science courses and is often required for entry into PGCE programmes and healthcare-related degrees.
Delivery And Assessment
You’ll be assessed through end-of-topic tests, mock exams and regular homework. The final qualification is 100% exam-based, with two exams taken in the summer. High attendance and consistent effort are essential.
