Course overview
You’ll explore all aspects of media production including storyboarding, set design, prop and costume creation, and digital editing. You’ll use industry-standard software for graphic design, animation, and video editing, and work on exciting live projects and creative briefs.
Course details
You’ll need at least four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English or Maths and an Art, Design or Media-related subject, or a Level 2 Diploma with Merit in Art and Design or Media. A portfolio or showreel is also required.
The course is 100% coursework. You’ll be assessed through practical work, presentations, essays, journals, blogs, tutor interviews, group discussions, short films, storyboards, app designs, and live film events.
You can progress to university, a Higher National Diploma, or employment in the media industry. Your digital media portfolio will support applications for creative roles across film, TV, advertising, and design.
