UAL 3D Applied Design, VR & Architecture Diploma Level 3
Course overview
You’ll develop practical skills in 3D design, working in specialist workshops and exploring materials, processes and digital tools. Projects include model making, product design, interior design, jewellery, furniture and VR environments. You’ll also gain experience in photography and digital design. On completion, you’ll achieve a UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication.
Course details
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English or maths. Alternatively, a Level 2 Diploma in a related subject at Merit or Distinction grade is accepted. You’ll also need to bring a portfolio of art and design work to your interview.
This course is 100% coursework. You’ll produce work in 2D, 3D and time-based media, including sketchbooks, design sheets, research projects, evidence folders and photographs documenting your creative process.
Progress to a Foundation Diploma, higher education or employment in roles such as set designer, jewellery designer, furniture designer, architect or interior designer.
