Course overview
You’ll develop your ideas from concept to completion, gaining skills in research, project management, and media production. You’ll also take part in live briefs and industry competitions to build a professional portfolio. The course includes practical work in video, sound, app design, and visual storytelling. On completion, you’ll be awarded the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology.
What this course covers
Entry Requirements
You’ll need four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths. Alternatively, a Level 2 Diploma in a related subject at merit or distinction grade is accepted.
Progression Opportunities
You can progress to university-level study or an apprenticeship in media. Most roles in the media industry require a degree, but your portfolio and hands-on experience will support entry into digital media jobs such as content creation, production, and marketing.
Delivery And Assessment
This course is fully assessed through coursework. You’ll be evaluated through practical projects, presentations, essays, blogs, journals, group discussions, short films, storyboards, app designs, sketchbooks, and live film events.
