Course overview
You’ll study a range of academic topics in law and criminology, alongside essential study skills such as essay writing and research techniques. The course includes practical activities like visits to local law courts, the Houses of Parliament, and universities specialising in law and criminology.
What this course covers
Entry Requirements
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). You’ll also need to demonstrate your commitment to the course at interview and have had a break from formal education.
Progression Opportunities
Successful completion allows you to apply for university-level courses in law, legal studies, criminology, and related subjects.
Delivery And Assessment
Assessment is through a combination of coursework and exams. Most assessments are written assignments completed during the course, with two final exams at the end.
