Course overview
You’ll build on traditional graphic design skills and apply them to modern platforms including motion graphics, app design, print, and sonic performance. You’ll be encouraged to draw inspiration from all areas of art and design and develop your own unique visual style. Students work on live briefs for external clients and take part in our industry mentoring scheme.

Entry Requirements
You’ll need 32 UCAS Tariff points. Acceptable qualifications include: A Level grade C, BTEC Extended Diploma (PPP), BTEC Diploma (PP), or Access to HE Diploma with 45 credits. All applicants will be invited to a formal interview and must present a portfolio including drawing, photography, and design work. We welcome applications from those who may not meet the academic criteria but can demonstrate ability through experience or portfolio.

Progression Opportunities
Graduates can progress to a full honours degree with one or two additional top-up years, or move into employment in roles such as graphic designer, web designer, or creative director.
Delivery And Assessment
You’ll be assessed through a variety of project briefs across design disciplines. You’ll produce sketchbooks, manual and digital outcomes such as animations, magazines, and portfolios. You’ll also have the opportunity to exhibit your work.
