Course overview
Developed in collaboration with industry experts, this course equips you with the skills needed for roles in film, TV, journalism, digital design, sound, photography, and more. You’ll work on real-world projects using industry-standard equipment and software, building a strong portfolio and professional confidence.
Course details
You’ll need one of the following: a BTEC Level 3 qualification in a related subject, a suitable A Level profile, an international equivalent, or relevant work experience (especially for mature students).
You’ll be assessed through practical projects, production portfolios, presentations, reports, essays, group work and industry-based assignments. The focus is on what you can do, not just what you know.
After completing the HNC, you can progress to the HND, top-up to a full degree at university, or move directly into employment in the creative industries.
