You’ll explore how to stay organised in Esports, develop a career plan, play sport, and run your own Esports events. You’ll also learn how to brand teams and create websites to support your projects.
What this course covers
You’ll study a range of exciting topics including Esports games, teams and tournaments, how to establish an Esports organisation, and how to stream content effectively. You’ll also plan an Esports event, explore enterprise opportunities in the industry, design your own Esports game, and learn how to maintain positive health and well-being while gaming.
Entry Requirements
The entry requirement is 4 GCSE at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths
Progression Opportunities
After completing this course, you can progress to the Level 2 Esports qualification, explore other college career pathways, or apply for an apprenticeship.
Delivery And Assessment
This course is assessed through coursework and portfolio work – there are no exams for the Esports qualification. However, GCSE English and Maths will include exam elements.
