Course overview
You’ll study topics such as computer systems, web design, multimedia and games design, e-commerce, computer animation, software design and development, computer networks, and advanced spreadsheet skills. As part of our Careers College programme, you’ll also take part in employer-led activities like live briefs, internships, seminars, coding summer schools, and games design events. What this course covers
Entry Requirements
You’ll need four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
Progression Opportunities
After completing this course, you can progress to careers in IT such as Technical Support, Software Development, or Database Administration. You can also move on to Level 3 IT courses like the Advanced Creative IT programme, which is equivalent to three A Levels and can lead to university-level study.
Delivery And Assessment
You’ll be assessed through a combination of written coursework, practical assessments, and a portfolio of evidence.
