You’ll learn how to develop ideas and manage creative projects from start to finish. The course includes live briefs, industry-focused competitions and portfolio-building opportunities. You’ll gain confidence, research skills and a deeper understanding of the creative industries.
What this course covers
Entry Requirements
You’ll need four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths. Alternatively, a Level 2 Diploma in a related subject at Merit or Distinction grade is accepted.
Progression Opportunities
After completing the Level 3 Diploma, you can progress to higher education, an apprenticeship, or employment in the media industry. Your portfolio will support applications for roles in digital media, production, and creative content creation.
Delivery And Assessment
This course is fully assessed through coursework. You’ll be assessed through practical work, presentations, essays, journals, blogs, tutor interviews, group discussions, short films, storyboards, app designs, visual images, sketchbooks and live film events.
