Course overview

You’ll gain a solid foundation in finance administration, covering double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing, and accounting software. Online lessons are supported by fortnightly campus sessions at either Matthew Boulton or Sutton Coldfield College.

Entry Requirements

GCSE English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. We also consider relevant workplace experience.

Progression Opportunities

Progress to the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or begin an apprenticeship. You may be eligible for full funding for Level 3.

Delivery And Assessment

Assessed via computer-based exams and projects, including a synoptic assessment. Online study is supported by regular tutor-led sessions on campus.
