The Foundation Diploma in Art and Design gives you the opportunity to explore your creative potential and specialist area of study. Part one of the course introduces you to the underpinning processes and principles of art and design practice. Part two of the course provides stretch and challenge and will enable you to develop knowledge and understanding within your chosen discipline. You will need to demonstrate an increasing level of independence in preparation for study at degree level, and in the preparation of portfolios ready for university. Part three of the course enables you to negotiate, plan and deliver a personal project.
