At BMet, we are committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed in higher education. As part of our registration with the Office for Students (OfS), we publish several plans and policies designed to safeguard students and support their learning journey.
Access & Participation Plan
BMet’s Access and Participation Plan outlines our approach to improving equality of opportunity in higher education. It shows how we support disadvantaged students to:
-
- Access higher education opportunities
-
- Achieve success during their studies
-
- Progress to employment or further study

Fee Information
Our fee information outlines the limits on tuition fees for students starting courses in 2024-25. Fees may increase up to 3% in line with inflation or changes in government funding.
Student Protection Plan
All OfS-registered institutions must publish a Student Protection Plan. This plan explains what students can expect if a course, campus, or the college were to close unexpectedly, ensuring transparency and protection.
Student Transfer Plan
BMet’s Student Transfer Plan ensures smooth transitions for students both within the College and between institutions. It covers:
- Transfers within BMet or to another provider (outgoing transfers)
- Transfers into BMet from other registered providers (incoming transfers)
- Transfers linked to the Student Protection Plan to maintain the continuation and quality of study
- The plan sets out support and arrangements available to help students successfully transfer courses or institutions while protecting their learning outcomes.
