Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. You’ll learn how to conduct research, analyse data, and apply logical reasoning. The course helps you develop strong writing and numeracy skills while exploring fascinating topics like memory, personality, and social influence.
Course details
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including GCSE Maths at grade 4, GCSE English Language at grade 5, and grade 44 in either GCSE Dual Award Science or two separate GCSE Science subjects.
This two-year course, through the exam board: AQA, is entirely assessed by written examination at the end of two years of study, covering all content covered over the duration of study.
Psychology opens doors to a wide range of careers, including clinical psychology, education, occupational psychology, health, counselling, and social work.
