ESOL for Construction (E3)

This course is for learners (aged 19 +): whose first language is not English whose level of English and maths is a minimum of Entry 2 who are interested in completing the Construction or Electrical course and pursuing a career in the industry who may have experience of working in the construction industry in another country but lack the qualifications/level of English to be able to find work immediately who do not yet have English and maths skills at Level 1, so do not yet meet the entry requirements of the Construction course

What this course covers

Entry Requirements

A recent qualification in Entry 2 English/ESOL and Maths or an initial assessment outcome of Entry 2 in English and maths.

Progression Opportunities

You can progress on to Construction Level 1 at James Watt College/Erdington Skills Centre

Delivery And Assessment

You will be taught by an ESOL specialist with an understanding of the construction industry and complete taster activities with the construction department.
