Course overview
Learn how to manage books effectively, including double-entry bookkeeping, trial balance preparation, and applying controls. Study online at your own pace with interactive video lessons, and attend regular campus sessions for tutor support.
Course details
GCSE English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. We’ll also consider relevant workplace experience.
Two mandatory units assessed via end-of-unit online exams. Study includes on-demand video lessons and weekly campus sessions.
Progress to the AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. You may be eligible for full funding. This qualification is valued by employers and supports entry into finance roles.
Bookkeeping Transactions: financial transactions, customer/supplier records, trial balance. Bookkeeping Controls: payment methods, control accounts, journals, bank reconciliation.
