Business Extended Certificate Level 3
This Level 3 Business course is ideal if you want to understand how businesses operate and succeed. You’ll explore key topics such as finance, marketing, recruitment and enterprise, while developing valuable skills like teamwork, problem solving and communication.
Course overview
You’ll study core areas including business environments, finance, marketing, international business and management. Optional units support progression to university and link to careers in human resources, accounting, law and marketing. The course can be taken over one or two years and is equivalent to three AS Levels.
What this course covers
Entry Requirements
You’ll need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English or Maths. You can resit either English or Maths alongside this course. Successful completion of Year 1 allows progression to the full Diploma.
Progression Opportunities
After completing the course, you can progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Business, apply for university, or explore employment opportunities in business-related fields.
Delivery And Assessment
Assessment is through a mix of coursework and exams. You’ll complete written assignments, take part in presentations and sit formal assessments.
