You’ll study key units including computerised accounts and basic costing, alongside a BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Business and Finance (equivalent to one A Level), which supports progression into higher education.
What this course covers
Introduction to Bookkeeping, Bookkeeping Controls, Costing Principles, Business Environment.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
Progression Opportunities
Progress to AAT Level 3 full-time or part-time, or begin an apprenticeship in accounting.
Delivery And Assessment
AAT units are assessed via computer-based exams and projects, with instant feedback. The BTEC element is assessed through tutor-marked assignments.
