ENJOY ACTIVITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES OUTSIDE YOUR COURSE
BMet offers a wide range of Student Enrichment Activities that give you the chance to try something new alongside your main studies. Each college has a Youth Worker whose role is to make your time at college exciting and enriching while representing the views of the student body.
Our Youth Workers help you gain experiences outside regular lessons. These include gigs and performances, sports groups, societies, volunteering, and opportunities to support your UCAS application.
If you have ideas for new enrichment activities or societies, you can discuss these with the Youth Worker at your college.
STUDENT VOICE
There are many ways for you to have your say and help shape college life
- Become a Learner Representative for your course and share your views with fellow students and your Head of College
- Take part in the BIG Teaching and Learning Survey every year. Results are shared with students
- Join focus groups to provide feedback on areas such as the Library Service
- Give feedback in person, by phone, or through social media. Your views will help make changes happen
- Attend formal meetings where Student Voice Representatives meet with the Head of College. You can also give feedback informally through your Personal Tutor or Enrichment Officer
