BMet promises – your next episode starts with us

BMet students have been written to confirming they have a place to study in September.

While teaching continues remotely online for the foreseeable future all BMet students are being reassured they have a place to study once the next academic year begins.

The college buildings closed on Friday 20 March, following the government announcement closing all schools and colleges due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Each spring the college works with students to confirm their choices for September and this year is no different.

BMet Principal, Cliff Hall, said: “While we are settling into a new way of working and teaching, college life is taking place as it always has and it’s important we continue to make plans with our students, so they can realise their future career ambitions.”

College tutors will in the coming weeks confirm directly with students the course offer for September 2020.

Pastoral support team services are also still available via email / phone for students while college life is taking place remotely.  Click here on how to access those services.

Cliff Hall continues: “I’d like to praise our students who have in the main adapted to remote teaching with aplomb.

“This situation, challenging as it is, has brought the college community together and we are supporting each other.

“As well as progressing our current students, I’d like to reassure future students that they can also still apply to us for a place in September.

“We are really looking forward to seeing existing students back in college as soon as we are able and to welcoming new students in September.”
