Women’s Football (Boldmere St Michaels)

Level 3 - Advanced

Women's Football (Boldmere St Michaels)

Over a million women and girls play football regularly up and down the country and over 22,000 females have successfully attained FA Coaching Qualifications in the past few years.
Sutton Coldfield College has created a Female Football Academy (at Boldmere St Michaels), providing a level playing field for women. Our Female Football Academy combines the opportunity to develop your football skills and achieve a recognised sports qualification.

To study at the Female Football Academy you will need to apply on line and you will also need to take part in football trials as part of your application process.  If you love sport and learning about how to improve your performance, then this is the course for you. Building upon what you have learnt at school, this one-year course will mix both the practical and theoretical aspects of sport and develop your understanding and knowledge across a range of subject areas.

It will both challenge you and inspire you to learn more about how you can develop your own sporting performance and that of those around you.

Throughout the course you will learn about how your body works and how your mind and thinking will affect your performance. You will also learn about how you can both train your body and test it to discover just how fit you actually are.
