Safe Handling of Medication Certificate Level 2

The course is aimed at staff who may be working in the health and social care industry and wish to update themselves about the law and correct medication administration procedures. You will understand why safe handling of medicines is of critical importance to staff, patients and their families. It will help staff and carers to understand different types of medication and what they are used for, how to store and dispose of medicines in a safe way, how to administer medicines safely and correct record keeping and audits.
