This exciting and practical course has been designed to meet the needs of the British computing industry. You will cover a wide range of topics designed to give you the opportunity to specialise later on, these include software design & development, games development, computer systems and mobile applications. You will also cover a module called the HE Toolkit which gives you study skills for university.

Entry Requirements

You will need to be working at level 2 English and maths and demonstrate your commitment to the course. You should have had a period of time away from studying and have an interest in pursuing a career in the IT professions. Applicants need to be 19 years old or over.

Delivery and Assessment

This course is assessed by coursework which emphasises practical work and any work place experience you may have. Coursework may involve essays, presentations, reports, discussions and a portfolio of evidence.
