In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment Award Level 3

Inspection and testing is designed for experienced electricians over who have a basic knowledge of Inspection and testing that require a qualification to endorse the electrical safety of electrical installations.

This course combines both the 2377 – 22 (Operative) and the 2377 – 32 (Management). The course will suit you if you are, a practicing electrician either involved in, or looking to become involved in, the inspection and testing of electrical equipment (eg portable appliances), and/or involved in managing the process of it.

You will study the practical aspect of inspection and testing of electrical equipment, which includes the: recording of results, formal records and the audit and documentation procedures for the management and in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

This course is offered either evening or day release or as a block.

You must have an IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition), or an ISBN 978-1-84919-626-0 to complete this course.

Delivery and Assessment

You will complete online tests and will be assessed in the practical tasks.
