wide range of English texts from a number of historical periods. You will
analyse texts and ask yourself questions, to then explore your
answers.

Course Length: 35 Weeks
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including GCSE Maths grade 4 & GCSE English Language grade 6.
This two-year course is principally assessed by written examination at the end of two years of study, but also includes Non-Exam Assessed (Coursework) Components.
The comprehension, analytical and communication skills developed by studying English Literature are very important in a wide range of careers, and they also form the core of further literary study at university.
