Level 3 - Advanced
This is the most comprehensive course completing the skill training enabling
those who are successful at level 3 to go and find employment in the electrical
industry. It is at this point that students will usually complete an NVQ and AM2
qualifications. The units involved in the C&G 2365 Level 3 Diploma covers AC
theory both single and three phase power. Various laboratory experiments. Motor
types and their application. Application of the BS 7671 wiring
regulations.

Course Length: 36 Weeks
You must have completed a level 2 diploma and have a maths and English qualification at level 2 grade C or above.
You will need a minimum Level 1.8 BSKB initial assessment result in maths and English – this assessment must take place in college. You will also be asked to attend an interview.You will be expected to have 100% attendance, 100% punctuality and homework completed and submitted timely.
You will be assessed by on-line multiple choice test, (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e-volve) plus written examinations and practical assignments.
