Electrical Installation Diploma Level 2

The qualification covers many areas within Electro technical technology, units such as principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering and practical hands-on tasks.
The Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need to progress to the Level 3 qualification or progress onto an Electro technical Apprenticeship Programme
The Level 2 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 1 qualification or with some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry.

Entry Requirements

You must have both maths and English at grade C/4 or above. If you don't have the entry requirements you can enroll on our PEO Level 1 course where the opportunity is available to raise your maths and English grades.

Delivery and Assessment

You will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments.


Successful completion of the course will allow you to seek employment as an electrician either for a construction company or working for yourself. Alternatively you may choose to continue your studies and progress to the level 3.
