MORE: LESS: Why BMET

You will be required to be working at level 2 English or hold a GCSE grade C/4 or above. It is also preferred for you to hold a level 3 qualification in a subject.

You will plan and deliver a learning session with an identified group of students.  This can take the form of a micro-teaching session with your peers – together with a completed lesson planner.  You will also complete a range of assignment based evidence of your learning and will be encouraged to reflect on this process and develop your own web folio.

You can progress to the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, as long as you have secured part or full time work as a teacher or trainer in post compulsory education, and meet the qualification entry requirements for this programme.  Achieving this qualification will demonstrate to employers that you have achieved a grounding in the skills required to teach in the post-compulsory education sector.
