Digital Skills Certificate Level 1

The key aim of this course is for learners to show an understanding of and competency in digital literacy skills.

The topics covered include;
– How to apply digital skills in personal and business situations
– Maintaining safety and security when using data and devices
– Using digital resources such as CV’s to support career development
– Improve communication for social and professional purposes using technology.

This course is made up of 2.5 hours attending college and 1 hour studying independently online per week.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have achieved or be working at a minimum of Entry Level 3 English.

Delivery and Assessment

You will develop a portfolio of evidence through out the course which will form the assessment.

Progression

On the completion of this course you can continue on to study NCFE Certificate Level 2 in either IT User Skills, Digital Skills for work or Digital Promotion for Business.
