Applied Law with Criminology and Finance BTEC Level 3

This is a two year full-time BTEC qualification for students who wish to study law or criminology at university. It is equivalent to three A levels and provides the basis of an excellent route for learners to pursue a career in the legal profession or criminal justice system.

You will study a variety of topics including understanding crime and deviance. You will focus on the impact that criminal behaviour has on society and explore how criminal behaviour can be explained. Whilst studying law you will gain an understanding of the institutions that govern the UK, how the courts implement justice and you will gain the skill of “thinking like a lawyer”. We all have to manage our finances and work in the business environment; the finance part of the course will give you the skills to manage your money and understand the financial side of business.
