Applied Law with Criminology and Business Level 3

This is a two year full-time course made up of BTEC Applied Law, BTEC Business and WJEC Criminology. It is designed for students who wish to study law or criminology at university and also have a grounding in Business.
It is equivalent to three A levels and provides the basis of an excellent route for learners to pursue a career in the legal profession or criminal justice system.
You will study a variety of topics including understanding crime and deviance. You will focus on the impact that criminal behaviour has on society and explore how criminal behaviour can be explained.
Whilst studying law you will gain an understanding of the institutions that govern the UK, how the courts implement justice and you will gain the skill of “thinking like a lawyer”.
The Business part of the course introduces to you all aspects of business, from the smallest sole traders to huge international companies. You will study how they market their products, how they manage their internal affairs and how they are affected by the external environment.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSES Grade 4/C, this must include English and Mathematics

The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admission requirements to many relevant courses, for example: HND in Law/Legal Studies , LLB, BA in Criminology, Legal Studies Degree, BSc (Hons) in Business and Management , BA (Hons) and BSc(Hons) in Business Studies & Law, BA (Hons) and BSc(Hons) in Business Studies, BSc (Hons) in International Management.
